igotyou keeps what it needs to check your watches and tell you when they settle, and nothing else. There’s no advertising, no analytics, and nothing is sold.
What igotyou keeps
- Your watches: what you asked, the source and rule it settled on, and its latest reading.
- Who you are to it: by default, a random identity made for your phone. If you sign in with Google or Apple, your email address instead. Nothing else from either account is requested.
- Where to reach you: Apple push tokens for your devices, the five most recent at most.
- Sides on a shared watch: which side each device took. An email address left on a shared watch’s page is used once, when it settles, and then deleted.
Who else handles it

Checking a watch reads public sources such as Wikidata, Yahoo Finance, ESPN, the FEC and Google News. Those requests come from the server and never say who is asking.
Deleting it
Deleting a watch in the app deletes it. To delete your identity and everything attached to it, email markshervey@gmail.com.
